What? As Americans we look to the Constitution and its twenty-seven amendments to understand the rights guaranteed to us. In these times our own rights may be in jeopardy, and we know for sure that the rights of others around the world have already been violated. Israeli Prime Benjamin Netanyahu and Vladimir Putin have been censured for alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity. The International Criminal Court has issued arrest warrants for both leaders. Many are concerned that President Trump has ordered boats in international waters destroyed, their crews killed without offering any proof that they have violated any laws. Join with the members of Senior Scholars on Friday, October 24 (10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Providence United Methodist Church) as Dr. Alexa Royden, Assistant Professor of Political Science at Queens University, discusses the current and possible future status of international human rights law.
Price? $5 for guests or $25 annual membership
