What? Join the League of Women Voters of Charlotte Mecklenburg for a panel discussion with leaders from education, business, and civic life on what it means to be a champion of public education. Learn why strong public schools matter to everyone—and how you can help drive meaningful change. Bring a friend.

The panel will be moderated by former Mecklenburg County Commissioner and UNCC Professor of Education Susan Harden. The panel will include Charles Bowman (former President for NC of Bank of America), Eric Davis (Chair of the NC State Board of Education), Liz Monterrey Duvall (first latina elected to CMS Board of Education), Kristen Howard (VP Novant Health), and Dr. Jerry Wilson (Director of policy and advocacy for CREED).
